About

I chose to practise alone.

Chiropractor, Pickering. Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, 2002.

I studied physical education before chiropractic, which is probably why I still spend most of a first visit watching how people move. I graduated from CMCC in 2002 and went to Australia to practise, then came back to Ontario.

In 2004 I co-founded a multidisciplinary clinic in Scarborough. It did well. It also meant short appointments, a full waiting room, and treating people I barely had time to know. After some years of that I left to practise on my own, and I have been in this building at the bottom of Liverpool Road ever since.

That is the whole decision, and it explains the rest of this website. I keep about fourteen clinical hours a week. I answer my own phone. I don't have associates, so you see me every visit, and I know what we tried in March without looking it up.

How I work

Slowly, at the start. A first visit is eighty minutes because a history taken properly is most of the diagnosis, and because the sore part is often not the part that needs the attention.

I use adjusting, soft tissue therapy, acupuncture, CranioSacral therapy and ultrasound, and I fit orthotics. I have a yoga practice of my own, which mostly shows up as the home exercises I give being short enough to keep doing.

What I'll tell you

Not everything is a chiropractic problem. If I think what you're describing needs your family doctor, imaging, or a different practitioner, I'll tell you at the first visit and help you work out where to go. I'd rather send you to the right place than keep you here.
